    anyone try Valvoline VR1

My local Wally world started carrying the Vr1 in the weight I use. Been running it in my fresh flat tappet engine since it was built, no issues.

    anyone try Valvoline VR1

Mr. Lake Speed, Jr. "The Motor Oil Geek" mentions this in some of his videos. About diesel zddp not being the same as gas engine zddp. Due to the longer drain intervals over-the-road diesels have, apparently the diesel zddp is sloer-acting or something? BUT, diesels also have many...

    1955 C300 Front End

Real C300. Radiator is out just to spin the engine. Spins free by hand starter also functioning, carb linkages free. Still "gas" in float bowls... Front end is WRONG and is off 55 Windsor, but I am still MISSING a bumper. I have the rest of the 300 nose, including grills and lights and even...

    Rubbing Belts?

Yeah, that's the only compressor pulley that I've ever seen. Definitely some tomfoolery going on there. Do you have an unused groove on the crank pulley? You'll need it! Here's how you remove the pulley from the shaft. Easy as can be, but you must have the bolt that's mentioned. No...

NOT MINE 1968 Chrysler Newport Convertible (Auction Nov 16 / 2024) Zephrhllis, FL

I do like the tail lights. A nice, simple design, but not bland. The chrome ring sets it apart.

    Rubbing Belts?

That looks like the correct type. I would contact the seller to verify fitment before you order.

    anyone try Valvoline VR1

I've been using Shell Rotella diesel oil for my 75 New Yorker cause it has ZDDP for flat tappet engines. Read an ad for Valvoline VR1 oil. They said the diesel oil has the wrong ZDDP for flat tappets and the Valvoline VRI has the right ZDDP. I don't understand the difference in ZDDP. Has anyone...

WANTED Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

I need both left and right. I’m not sure what to call these, I couldn’t find a reference in the parts book, but my best guess is “rear seat lap belt reinforcement bracket - outer”. These bolt to the floor and then the belt bolts to the bracket. The first pic are the bolt holes in my floor...

My new to me 1959 Dodge Coronet

Will also need to rebuild the carb as the needle and seat don't seem to be sealing. Does anyone recommend any place in particular for a carb rebuild kit? I see one on the Mopar mall. Thanks.
