As far as I know, it's good. The yoke seems to fit well. How would you check that?

WANTED Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

Thanks Alan, mine is definitely different than what you show. There is no “outboard” bolt hole provision other than the two holes I show in the first pic. After looking through the FSM and the Assembly Manual, I’m thinking that the ‘70 with the bracket is a one year, convertible only piece.

The interchange shows a different bumper. I'll bet you can just move the bumper guards. A downloadable copy of the interchange manual: jholst.net Chrysler 300K Home Page

I don't think it will be the full reason of the drive noise, but how is your tail shaft bushing.

Interesting, so the bolt goes through the floor directly? Do you remember if your floor has two holes like my first picture above?

    Quarter window

That's a bit tougher to do and it's been a long time since I had a regulator out. The spring is very strong and you want to proceed with caution. IIRC, you want to keep the motor in place when you remove it, but my memory is a little fuzzy on this. I hate to say "do a search", but there's a...

Take a good look at that picture and this one. This pic is my '70 300, so it should be the same as yours. The pic in my first post isn't my car, but I believe it is a '69. What you want to do is look at the window motor through the openings and you'll see the 3 bolts around the gear drive...

I have a template in PDF you can print. With those three bolts out and one on the motor the motor just falls out. The reason I'm asking is that I need to pull the regulator to repair rollers. Alan

I think it's actually more neutral than pushing up. In other words, the spring and the friction of the regulator supports the weight.

Thks looks like a great idea but how will I know where to drill the holes and then getting the motor out is easy?

Now that you revealed who it is, her husband, Roman Polanski, needs to be commented on about what he did. Roman Polanski sexual abuse case - Wikipedia BTW, did you know that they rent wood chippers? Just sayin'

Nice... I've said right along if I was to choose between a Mustang and a metric Challenger, it would be the Mustang hands down.

I may have turned to the dark side...

For the last 9 years the only 4 wheeled vehicle I owned and drove was my 1971 300 (Alvah). I have deeply loved that car. But having a 50+ year old car as a daily has drawbacks! This last summer I reached my limit. I enjoyed driving the car, but this time it was the second round of ignition...

    anyone try Valvoline VR1

Calcium is supposed to be a detergent additive. Gas DI engines specifically need less calcium to keep from destroying themselves. So it was decreased, as gas zddp has been increased a few hundred ppm. The two need to be in something of a relationship for best results. From prior postings...
