Got us a 1967 New Yorker

Ah, the deer whistles. My mother swore by them but most laugh at them. Testing has proven they don't work but perhaps a person hits the Deer that is fleeing the whistle.

    A/C Compressor RPM Limit?

I am not speaking specifically of Mopar, all AC systems use one or more switches to control it's function.

    A/C Compressor RPM Limit?

The engine will "let go" before the compressor. The electric pressure switches are there to prevent the compressor from running if there is too little refrigerant in the system. The lubricating oil for the compressor is carried by the refrigerant. A secondary switch can and was often used to...

    High performance exhaust manifold coatings??

I used the Heat Riser Thermostats from Chevs of the 40's in my three Letter cars and am very happy with their performance. Part #838573 at about $17 each.

Using the electrical manual for my 76 New Yorker Brougham.

I haven't quite figured out how to use this manual. I have figured out the connectors, the sections related to each model, and the diagram grids but seem to get lost when trying to use them. For instance, mine is a four door HT and the door mounted courtesy lights work on all but the front...

    vapor lock

I agree that vapor forming in the suction side of the pump itself will cause a problem because the overriding fact is that the pump can't move it on. Other than that addition I stand by my explanation.

    vapor lock

I will attempt to correct misconceptions about "vapor lock". If liquid fuel is getting to the pump and it is capable of pumping the liquid, then "vapor lock" cannot occur. Vapor lock only occurs when there is "vapor" in the suction line from the tank. The pump cannot pump vapor! Therefore, it...

Detailing Engine Mopar Turquoise - Specifically

My explanation didn't come out quite right. It is not necessary to have a 300 to be a member of The Chrysler 300 Club Int. but only 300's can be discussed on the list server. Hope that is more clear.

    Recasting steering wheel options

The translucent portion of those wheels was crystal clear when they were new so you could see the chromed metal ring inside. Some had gold metal flake imbedded in the clear portion. They are awesome when done properly.

    Center plane brakes, ‘61 Plymouth

You can and should use denatured alcohol to flush the brake system. Repeatedly fill the master and bleed one wheel at a time using the time tested method. I would use at least 1/2 gallon.

    RECHROMING

Does anyone know of a place that does small jobs of anodizing aluminum hopefully in south Florida? Many places will only do large jobs.

1964 Dodge 880 shakes/wobble at low speeds and first gear (0-30 mph) and when car attemps to stop. Smooth at high speeds

If you have Radial tires and the sensation is a wobble rather the a vibration, then a belt of one or more of the tires has come loose and is starting to come off. As the condition worsens it will be evident at all speeds. If the wobble is at the rear, lift both rear wheels off the ground, with...
