    1961 Dodge Dart Seneca

Wow great pics. My dad had a black 61 Seneca in the late 60s /6 stick. He still tells about how he drove it from NY to Oklahoma several times from 67-69 it was his college car. He took it from Brooklyn to Oklahoma many times. His brother and best friend laugh about the weekend in August 69...

Speaking from personal experience,The Budd disc brakes do function beautifully. But parts are of unobtanium. The calipers have to be sent out to be rebuilt or do them yerself. Brake pads are available but the rotors are like hens teeth. Mobileparts, a member here sell the parts but once they are...

    Electric fuel Pump placement

You don't need or can use a high pressure pump. With any electric pump, it's wise to run a regulator set at 5# where most carbs run best at. You just need delivery and not pressure.

    Transmission issue or ujoints

Yea I'm hoping it's still able to be rebuilt that'd be my plan maybe I'll drop in my 360la at the same time I'm not sure yet. Unfortunately I have to go out of town for work the rest of this month so it's basically gonna sit until then. I'll update when I really dig in to what the issue is.

    Transmission issue or ujoints

Also known as the "sprag". Unfortunately, the more I think about it, the more I'm sure. Pan will have metal debris and hopefully it didn't damage the case to the point of needing replacement.

Join the club! If you’re on Facebook, and own a Non-Letter 300 (1962-1979) Make sure to head over and join! Due to the lack of groups for the Non-Letter series, I took it upon myself to create one! Hope to see you all there.

    Is this fixable? Special glue?

I took a dremel and lightly ground down a recess on the side facing in for the 4 chrome trim mounting screws like the original ones had otherwise they lock in without any kind of glue and can be cut to fit length

    Lifter preload tolerance..

Never seen ANY mention of lifter pre-load on Chrysler B/RB lifters from the factory, in the FSM. As the rockers are not adjustable, just install them. Lunati knows the factory set-up, so you should be fine. When and IF you do get the adjustable rocker arms, THEN pre-load them like a SBC...

I am interested, I’d still like to have a set even if they don’t go on the car immediately. I like to change up the look from time to time! Send me a private message when you can. Thanks!

Not a bad thought, from what I’ve read the early disc brake calipers are a pain. Is that true? This is my first 65/66. I’ve owned every generation C Body with the addition of this one. (1968 Sport Fury, 1968 Imperial Crown Coupe, 1972 Newport Royal, and a 1974 New Yorker Brougham St. Regis Coupe.)

Foil pack was normal back in the day. There was a foil wrapped insulation pack that went on the belly pan just below the intake manifold. Some say it was to keep engine heat from the intake manifold to help prevent vapor lock. Other say it was to help reduce lifter noise in the engine.

Everything matches up except the power bucket seats. My car has manual seats. For my car, b5 does determine rear arm rest / ashtrays. Thanks!
