Getting a Roller Ready For Paint

Just thought I would poll the collective wisdom. Are there any concerns about assembling the body to the subframe without fenders and core support to make a roller for the paint shop to have to paint body? (Body right now is on a frame cart) Body has been prepped and is in primer, just need to...

    The elusive parts identification begins!

Afternoon everyone, As I start to reassemble my 72 Imperial Coupe, I am now starting to try to identify some elusive parts that the restoration shop put into a bag and marked for my car. I have a plate that is slightly curved and has one large hole and 7 smaller holes. Oddly enough, it does...

    Vacuum Lines

I just completed the rebuild of the suspension/brakes/steering/exhaust on a 73 Imperial. When I put the steering column back I found a vacuum line coming through the fire wall near the steering column. I seached around and it fit a fitting on the base of my steering column. (or so I think, as...

    Seat Backs

I have been on the search for 72/73 Imperial seat backs. ABC Moparts makes them for other Chryslers, but not Imperials. I have one 72 that was restored and has some repop seat backs. I wonder where those came from, or if they are actually New Yorker seat backs made to fit. (I haven't...

    74 Imperial Fuel Tank

Been trying to find a fuel tank for my 74. Would a 75 fit, sort of? It seems I can find 75 fuel tanks, but 74's are not in stock. With a little massaging, will a 75 fit?

    1973 Imperial Four Door

    73 Imperial aka "Rusty"

I picked up the 73 four door hardtop in Illinois this past weekend. (It was true glide ride with monster stereo!) I thought that it would be a project car, but I am thinking that it toop much for me with four other builds going on. It has a string drivetrain, but its body is rusted badly. I...
