Hi
Replaced the damaged hose , also fitted a new master cylinder, along with wheel cylinders and brake shoes whilst there . ,problem solved .
Now onto the rears

Further investigation today and found the vacuum hose looked OK in its position but on removal I found several cracks allowing air in ,I have a new 11/32 hose arriving tomorrow will let you know my findings on replacement.

Yes I've just read them thanks . I did remove the master cylinder ,cleaned renewed fluid and proved it works from front port . I'm in the process of bleeding the brakes currently, but not have a helping hand at present to do the pedal work.
