Hi Wissaman, sorry for late reply. I decided not to do the upgrade. When i cleaned everything up it looked very good so im letting it be for now. Been lots of work redoing, radiator, rear axel and exhaust to say the least :)

Yeah i dont think its a big deal on a original c with 440. It will prob work pretty good with 5/16. But since im going to replace everything i mean why not.

Haha not really but since i want new stuff there is no harm in upgrading to 3/8. It was in my opinion a bit thin from start withv5/16. Risk of vapor lock etc. Done it on a b-body with good result not needing return unit or regulator.

Hi fellow C:s. Does anyone know if b-body 3/8 pick up would fit a c-body tank? Have a 69 new yorker. or any other solution to upgrade to 3/8. Best regards Fredrik

That is probably not the same stripe, mine is closer to bottom window line.

Im not sure but i would say painted. It is a rough color, almost with sort of grain in it.

Hi old man with a hat. That might be so. But it would be odd to have a stripe in that height, following that line and continue straight where the curve starts. And nobody first believed it was an original stripe. I will keep on researching.
