Car is a 71 New Yorker fairly loaded, just picked up last month. Noticed this recently. I know how to repair it (replace it). What I am curious of is, how did it happen? Bad starter? Wrench across battery terminals? Any ideas? I Just don't want it to happen again once I get to replacing it...
