I have another photo of km-speedos on my harddisk, just for comparison (maybe they are from FCBO, i don´t know): Miles: metric: the metric-scale seems to have been mounted over the mph-scale, nowadays there is an adhesive scale for that...

It seems that the Imperial has been in Austria from 1972 on, as official import with metric speedometer and was owned by the former owners of "Kleinbahn", a (then well-known) manufacturer of small scale H0 railroads and trains for young and not-so-young children. After the death of Erich Klein...

I met an 72-Imperial owner on friday, his is white vinyl over white, with cologne leather in brown inside. Made for export to Europe back then, so the speedo is in km. He owns it since 2014. Has power vent windows, twilight sentinel aaaand the Bendix anti-lock system (not functional anymore)...

Saw so many being destroyed in cheap Hollywood-series of the 80ies. They became a part of my childhood that way. Still a car I would like to own one day, if I can find one - especially with the stacked rectangular headlights.

I ordered 2 vinyl tops from SMS in the last 3 years, and they were just perfect in color, grain and quality. One 78 Continental Mark V (light champagne) and my 73 Imperial LeBaron 4-door HT (dark green). The Marks vinyl arrived after 12 weeks as told before, the Imperial vinyl took 14 months and...

Hi, the temperature gauge from the instrument cluster in my 73 Imperial doesn´t work, the sending unit should be ok though. Does anyone have this part and wants to sell it? (I am in 1230 Vienna, Austria, Europe - PayPal would be nice)

As my vertical side window weather strips - between front and rear door glass - are torn somewhat, I would like to find "new" ones for better sealing. Couldn´t find anything for my 73 Imperial yet. Steele Rubber doesn´t offer that for Mopar C-bodies and I didn´t find them mentioned for 71-73...
