    Dream shop....your opinions

Two things I wished I had done when building my shop were put in a bathroom and lots of insulation. I needed it to keep it cooler in the summer but I'm sure you're more worried about cold in the winter. It really sucks to keep running into the house when nature calls.

1967 Plymouth fury III hazard light question??

I saw in your post that part of the MASS requirements for the 1967 model cars and the hazard lights are one of them. Thanks Big_John for that. The inspection guy did indeed do me a favor and I am sure that he is counting on me to correct this. I have been getting inspections there since 1958 and...

    Trans fluid .

I always thought Dexron III was standard refill. Seems to work good in a couple 727's I have. In one I put in a small bottle of Lucas trans fix and it took care of some slippage I had going in reverse.

1967 Plymouth fury III hazard light question??

That was always the rule of thumb with NYS inspections. If there was a light of any kind, it was expected to work. Of course, a lot of that depends on the interpretation of the tech doing the inspection. If you look at the link I posted to Mass state inspection criteria, it shows your '67...

New to site - 1963 Chrysler Newport Convertible

Looks like I will be inheriting my father's car, he is having issues driving now that he is older and has health issues, so my mom told him to give me the car since we will keep it in the family. The pic was from a while ago, it's been sitting a few years, need new transmission lines and I'm...

That is the replacement gasket, so it's aimed at "one size fits all". Any chance you didn't toss the used gasket that was on the engine? That would be the one to measure. IMHO, the 4.322 is big, but would work. Lay it on the block and see what it looks like.

Two-fer Tuesday. Here we have a pair of Marilyn's not Marilyn's pair. First up is a frame from one of her most iconic roles. Although I have seen this film her popularity is a little before my time. The image search did point me in the right direction but if you know the film you know where to...

    Military Blue

In the Chrysler color spectrum, look to the paint code to see how dark it is. For example, B3 blue is lighter than B5, which is lighter than a B8 blue. This is on the color codes where the full code is two letters followed by a number. Perhaps the earlier ones were similar? The other issue...

True, but I wonder if the Cometec head gasket listing just has the nominal (stock) size listed and the opening size is large enough for an .030" over bore. You can see the stock head gasket is obviously larger than the stock bore in @Cartel 's pic to allow for the chamfer that the stock...
