    69 plymouth wagon. When I looked there was no grd symbol coming the motor. Just the two leads one through the safety switch the other connected to the yellow wire as I recall. I'll look again as well, outdoor xmas lite time.

    That surprises me... All the other window motors don't need to ground to the chassis. Sorry.... I should not have assumed they were. What year car are we talking about here... I have to go look at a wiring diagram now.
