a few questions need a answer please

You are running into the same problem I'm having with an upcoming 273 build. That is the gaskets are made for a larger engine so they will fit anything out there. In your case, a 440 engine is 4.320" and a 400 engine is 4.342 (stock bores) while your .030 over 383 is 4.280". In my case, the...

Thanks, I ended up tack welding them. They did torque to spec, but very loose going most of the way in.

    Dream shop....your opinions

For the first time in my life I have the space to build whatever I want. A standalone shop not being used for storage or filled with crap, no tripping over a snowblower, or moving rakes. So I know the basics of what I need/want, but I'd love to have some input from people with a different...

The original owner Paul Jackson was a Ford guy, with the proximity to Oshawa the yard is 75% GM and Ford, 20% Imports and 5% Mopar, most of which are '61-'68 time frame. Theres a 73 Newport I may buy for parts. Nick

    Happy Holidays!!!

It's that time of year again folks! Time for family, friends, food, and in many cases travel. Be safe, be careful, get there and back in one piece. Most importantly, remember the reason for the season. And hey, take it easy. It'll be there when you get there! Best Regards all, Justin : )

    How many are left?

First, awesome car! As for how many left? I'd think a good percentage of what's built are still around, because these weren't cars that teenagers bought back in the day and destroyed. These were intended for people in markets that likely wouldn't do that, or so it would seem? Not many Imperials...

A lot it can be purchased, anything that will come out in one piece and or is semi complete will be auctioned in May, I worked with its prior owner and have been through the yard many times.
