    Fun drive today...

I got similarly lucky last year when the rear wheel bearing on my 66 Toronado broke just as I was getting off an exit ramp. The wheel and brake combo was completely off and sitting loosely in the wheel well. Just a minute earlier I was going 70 mph on Rt 280, could have been a lot worse

How to install and use small seatbelt buckle of Imperial 1971 deluxe

Are the mounting bolt ends of the small buckle belts attached to the outer seating position belts, as in sewn together or use a common mounting piece on each side? IF they are attached, then as the most common seats were probably the split bench or solid bench, they could catalog ONE belt for...

Round the Block: Driving our 1969 CHP Polara 440

Very nice video. Better than the usual texts and pictures about cars. A Cbodie actually driving, along with interesting stories behind it. Loved it!

    Differential gear change?

Indeed, the 2.56 acted like overdrive, the wagon didn’t prefer 55-60mph but felt sprite between 70-90 mph. Around town she was still quick enough especially for her size. Ideally I’d like my 67 crown to have about 3.55 with a 4spd auto overdrive. Whew

What are you working on today??

I discovered my choice for a new front 6x9 speaker for my '65 300L isn't gonna work out. The magnet is too big. If it was about 1/2" shorter, it might fit, but it hits the dash frame around the glove box. The old Radio Shack speaker. The new Custom Autosound speaker. You can easily see...

    Differential gear change?

3.23's were godd back when the speed limit was 55. Then highway driving and interstate driving are two completely different situations. Around here if you don't drive 80 on the interstate, you will get run over! Go ahead and run your 3.23's at 80 for 4 or 5 hours and see if you change your...

    New guy looking for advice

Sorry about the lack of communication, but I've decided I'm probably not going to buy it. I'm not looking for a super nice car, like that one, even though the price has been lowered to $7,500. If anyone else in the Upper Midwest wants a super nice New Yorker, the link is in one of the above...

    Welcome, BrooklynBeer

Thank you. I come here with a long line of Mopars in my stable starting with a 1930 Plymouth up to my latest project of a 1970 Dodge D200. I am looking for a later C body from 69-71 let it be a Fury, Polara, or 300. As long as it has a minimum of a 383 and 727. This will be my next stage of...
