I think sound is the most subjective of all the changes we make. So many things to choose from. And we don't know what it's going to sound like until we run the test. So many test to run. NOT MINE 1970 Polara convertible.
The trim tag was lost during a repaint in 1980. When the car was purchased the current owner had the carpet replaced and the upholstery company found no BS under the seats when they removed them. Nice fella that is willing to talk about the car.- cuda hunter

Over heating
Hood seal. Helps redirect air through the radiator Your '66 should have a metal "stone deflector" that is bolted between the radiator support and the bottom of the bumper. That also helps keep the air flowing through the radiator. What temperature thermostat did you change to?- Big_John

mini starter fit issue
On the mini starter conversion kit: I removed the connector from the mini starter (see photo) and installed the mini starter without the conversion kit to see if one is actually needed. For peace of mind, I am ordering the conversion kit (I just ordered it now from the link posted above)...- John Kelly

Suggestions for a "Performance" muffler that isn't too loud
In addition to changing the mufflers, I’d also suggest putting in some type of dynamat- there are lots of options for it now. I went from 3.5” with 2 chamber Flowmasters and dumps, to a 3” TTI system with tailpipes, Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flows, and added dynamat to the floor when the...- Blusmbl

Over heating
Where in the range is it? Sometimes, those gauges aren't real accurate. I'd suggest buying an infrared temperature gun and checking the engine temperature near the sender.- Big_John

1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT Black with White Interior Video From MCACN 2024!
Oh, crap. That's great info for me as I was unsure if they were the same. I thought they were but apparently not. Sure helps to have tag info to keep them straight. Much appreciate pointing out the differences. I still have a ton to learn about the fury's.- cuda hunter
