A C body rotor measures in at 1.250 inch. A B body rotor measures in at 1.000 inch. CALIPERS are different due to the width of rotors. One of your calipers is a B & E body caliper. Simple as that.

You will figure that one out real quick yourself, when you install the slinger onto the snout of the crankshaft, and the timing chain, and gear.

Don't worry about it not being there. Never leaked oil without it, did it? If you have a replacement slinger, then put one back in. If not, lots of people forgot to put one in, or didn't wan't to. Works with one, or without, as you have noted.
