    Someones been into those heads previous to you, for whatever reason(s) You don't have to remove heads to replace valve springs, or valve stem oil seals. Your engine can't talk, so no way of knowing what's been done, in the past 48+ years.

    Only if the 383 is from 1959, 1960, and from a Chrysler Windsor, or Saratoga. Those are raised block, 383 engines. Otherwise NO, won't fit. 383's are low block engines, and 440's are raised block engines.

    Did you mess around with the PS gearbox? The pressure valve, on top of the box is out of adjustment. Needs setting.

    Also check the fuel pump rod for any wear. I agree with this members comment. Always overlooked on an old engine with fuel delivery issues.

    Nope. Makes no difference to the intake tubes if they are on a RB engine or a LB engine. Your wrong in your "thinking"

    Tell me why a 383 crossram, won't fit on a 413, and vise versa? They are the same thing. Where did you come up with that assumption?

    413 cross ram intake manifold value

    When i had an excellent set of long ram intakes, balance tube, linkage, it took Forever to find a buyer for all that at $600.00. They are a hard sell, to find buyers for. A Very limited market. Sure you see these things advertised at lots higher prices, but they don't sell.
