    Budd Caliper's

SO, CARID lists calipers for the 1968 Chrysler. They are from R1 concepts. They are not listed on R1 concepts page. I called in august to see what the deal was and got no help. They are $200 a piece if you want to take a chance. they claim " guaranteed to fit" so they should take them back if...

    Dream shop....your opinions

I just use an oil furnace in mine. A Miller Gun. Heats very well. They are a dime a dozen around here. Used in many mobile homes.

    Budd Caliper's

Mine leaked while sitting. they where "rebuilt" I just disassembled them, cleaned everything and reassembled. It does not leak anymore. I was surprised by how thin the piston bore seal was. Much thinner than smaller calipers I have rebuilt. If any debris gets in there, I can see where it would...

    Dream shop....your opinions

Look into QUALITY floor coatings. NOT paint. The good stuff is expensive, but looks great, is tough and keeps the concrete dust down. New concrete is the time to do it. I used Armor-Poxy and did mine myself. I took 3 days but came out nice. https://armorpoxy.com/ Also make use of the space next...

    anyone try Valvoline VR1

I have Driven oil in both my old cars. Vr-1, as was sated, is not recommended for cars that get put in storage as it does not have the anti-rust properties needed.

Window motor repair, modification, will it work?

UPDATE. Broke the gear again last week. I said screw it and ordered a whole motor assembly from ebay. I ordered a left hand window and they sent a right hand one. The gear did look like a different material, so I just swapped the gear to my motor. The cars go into storage this weekend so I...

    Smoking regulator.

I have adjusted my mechanical regulator a few times on my 68. In the factory manual it actually shows the procedure to do this. I let it idle with a meter on the battery and bend the tab until I get the voltage where I want. I then compare it to the gauge in the car to see how they compare. If...

    interesting day...

So, this spring I saw an old friend and we were talking cars when I showed him my 68 New Yorker. He told me about a guy next town over whom had a Chrysler stash. Yesterday was a nice day for a cruise so I took the New Yorker , picked my buddy up and we went to find this guy. We pulled in the...

Adirondack Nationals Lake George NY, Sept. 5th-8th 2024.

I did end up going. 2.5 hour ride one way. I saw your Fury there along with a few other C bodies. Beautiful car. I drove my 1974 Blazer over with a few friends. It was a little cool in the morning with no top on the truck, but it was worth it later in the day cruising the strip. That place is...

Window motor repair, modification, will it work?

When I bought my 68 New Yorker, the previous owner said he repaired the driver's window motor. After only one day of ownership, the window no longer worked. Luckily, he had drilled the door for easy access to the bolts. I found the gear stripped of all its teeth and repaired it using this kit...
