@cuda hunter - Where/how did you get these speaker risers? I have a 1969 Chrysler 300 and am dying to put in speakers in the same kick panel spot you have them. . Any guidance/help on this would be greatly appreciated. Dave O

Just as an added comfort, anyone use the . . . .Permatex high tack spray a gasket sealant? On cork or rubber?

This is great feedback - I will switch over to the tel-pro cork - just hope I can get a fit as even when I went slow on the last gasket, it still leaked. .

Just to add - I changed the valve covers on my 69 Chrysler 300 and I seemed to have burned them up. . and leaking bad! got them from Summit - Valve Cover Gaskets at Summit Racing Any suggestions on the proper gaskets to get????

I have the same car! It can be so much you just don't know where to start. Your dad my be overwhelmed but calmly push. Just have him focus on the engine getting cleaned up, lubed, . . .working. . .the rest will come. kind of like a snow ball. .once you get the engine going, it motivates you...
