69 Polara, very dim dome light

The bulb number that was in there was "550", which I'm assuming is dimmer than the 2112 bulb that's supposed to be there? Getting to the electrical check but I was just curious. Can't find any reference to 550 bulbs on the web

your intake looks "turquoise" to me. ton of these referances out there. likely a version in Hamtramck archivies. This seems consistent with what I have learned/had in the fleet as a collector. source: Engine Colors

Need advice, My friend asked me to help sell his New Yorker

That is a real beauty. Good luck with the sale. Here are a couple from Bring a trailer. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1948-chrysler-new-yorker-convertible/ https://bringatrailer.com/2013/10/25/1948-chrysler-new-yorker/

Mopar Connection bought a 70 Fury Rag.

Great to see the progress on PM27G0D159805. For those parts, your best bet may be a parts car. @sixpkrt is currently parting out a 1970 Newport 'vert that (AFAIK) uses the same tracks / channel guides.

    69 383 engine paint

My car came to me with blue valve covers and aqua intake, but it was upgraded by the PO to a 4 bbl so I'd guess the blue is original ?

Near as I can figure, "Mopar Nation" wrestles with these engine colors. seems like THEY'd be interested in "certifying" the color "turquiose" THEY put on millions of engines .... rather that let those of us of care flounder out here.. I did my "turquiose" recon mission about 10...

Need advice, My friend asked me to help sell his New Yorker

Thanks John, that pricing info from Hagerty will be a great help. I will relay it to my friend, and proceed from there. Final decisions will be up to him, but he can no longer be the caretaker of this car I think I will suggest listing it on Hemmings.

Window regulator motor doesn´t function anymore..

Ok, 1967 Chrysler New Yorker 2 door, driver side window. It worked fine 2 weeks ago. Now window is up, but won´t move anymore. At first I suspected the switch. But when bypassed, 12 volt directly from battery to windowmotor connector (the grey one in first picture), nothing at all.. Switched...

    Last T&C

I picked up a couple of copies. The article turned out great. I’ve made a lot of improvements since the photographs were taken over a year ago, but Jeff was on a deadline and it was then or never. I was happy to see it in print.

Just put 2 and 2 together -- this now-blue L-code Fury iii 'vert used to be FK5 and at some point had been repainted red, see here.
