    727 Torqueflite Rebuild Recommendations

904 and 727 use same kickdown kit. It is simply a check valve and a spring. Valve bodies are typically the same on both. THe ptk is loacted atop of valve body and once you drop it down you can determine if your have it or not...

NOT MINE 1962 Chrysler two-door hardtop sport coupe$2,200in Mesa, AZ

If that Imp is a " Custom" model only 826 were built. A cheaper model down from the Crown to compete with the cheaper Series 62 Caddy later known as the Calais. Congrats Chris! Nice Christmas gift! Lol!

    727 Torqueflite Rebuild Recommendations

One big tip I recomnend is add the 3-2 part throttle kickdown in your valve body. Simple upgrade and with 500hp in front it will save wear and tear on the trans and help with passi g on the highway and climbing hills. Helps with fuel economy ( somewhat) as the engine does not " lug" . Big block...

Last electrical question for today( circuit diagrams sending me cross eyed !)

Chrysler was known to install the same harness in the line with or without certain options to keep costs down. It may be for cruise control brake pedal cancel switch?? 2 cars, one with cruise control and the other without got the same basic harness. The car with cruise, its optional separate...

    Same old question: Tranny fluid?

Speaking from experience..ATF4 is more expensive and when travelling not all gas stations or truck stops carry it. I had a 904 rebuilt and used ATF4 in it. It leaked and drank that synthetic schit. Yes it gave crisp shifts but the 318 Coronet was no muscle car either I rebuilt my 68 Newport 727...

3 times because of body paint, upper door paint and roof. Sedans got wing vents regardless. 2 dr hardtops with AC they were deleted. Not sure if AC cars you could order them. 69 fender tags introduced a newer format vs 68 and older tags. In general, they were sparse as the majority of info...

    New garage for the C's..

First "casualty" .... My beloved swivel ratchet that I have had for 30ish years broke on the rust/siezed caliper bracket bolts. This was my go to ratchet and travelled with me in all three C bodies on their road trips and car shows. RIP..
