    Let's see some Wagons!

I've heard that story as the explanation for why wagons never got road wheels from the factory, but I highly doubt that anything would happen because I used to see this kind of thing all the time as a kid and the road wheels seemed to do just fine.... Probably Chrysler over-engineering again...

John, you are 100% correct about "your car, your decision" and it is easy changeable. Nothing to discuss about. It is just one of my personal buttons. So it drives ME crazy. But that is my problem :-))) C-Body road wheels: Yes, they were used on Chevys, too but it doesn't matter. You could get...

YES, YES, YES!!! Firm Feel Rear Sway Bar

Firm Feels instructions are a bit vague and leaves a lot to the imagination so here’s my suggestion for installation after all my trial and error. Unless you have an impact gun to loosen the lug nuts, break nuts loose before jacking up the car Jack up rear end (pumpkin) and support car with...

SOLD Magnum 500 Road Wheels...NO Trim Rings

Well... Then the argument can be made that the Road Wheels that we all like were used regularly on Chevy trucks and vans in the seventies. But seriously, wheels are one of the things that make or break the look of a lot of cars. It's a personal thing and what I like might not be what anyone...

    C bodies in Ontario

I think these are the ULTRA RARE wheels that were put out and recalled in part by the U.S. Government. Those are not the rare "recall" wheels. The "Road wheels" were offered on the 69 B & C body models in 69. They were discontinued and recalled in Sept of 68 by Chrysler corp. due to some...

    White wall Tires for C-Bodies

I finally have road wheels on the NYB. I still have some work to do before I can post pictures. I forgot the chrome lug nuts so I'll take it the Army base and swap them out and put the skirts back on Thursday. It's been raining pretty hard all day here today and it's suppose to rain tomorrow too.

Reverse Threads on Driver's side, i know rookie mistake

I believe this was a heavy transition period, but I have seen '73 B-bodies with drum, and my '74 Power Wagon was still drum also. As far as the left hand threads, '70 was supposed to be the last year, but I'm sure there was some spill over, like Dave has witnessed. Forces encountered on...

    New member in northern Maine

Hi all. Brief history, I went to school for auto mechanics in the late 70s, discovered I hated it once I got out in the field, so went on to other things. I stopped doing 90% of the car work; the newer stuff just baffled me. About 5 weeks ago I bought a friend's '57 Bel Air which has been stored...
