yup -- all day long, seven days/week, sundays and holidays included.:) if, minus the wheels, $2,500 got that deal done? i'd send my guys over with cash, a rollback, eyeball/sniff/listen to it good, see whats in the trunk, look at a good title, send me a text/couple pics, and pay that for it...

Loving life! 2 years since my 67 Imperial GM full-size Disc Brake upgrade!

Well this is not something I wanted to hear! If this is true, I am really disappointed! :(

77 Newport (first car). Radiator leak

Sooo RIGHT! I've used a couple aluminum radiators, one of **** quality, the other a good quality for the $ buy, but they're certainly not readily repairable, and the basic electronegativity issue assures electrolysis over time with any water based coolant. As soon as one purchases totally...

    Mouldings

Different than in 69, the end caps go on first come off last, no butterfly clips ( the stud would cut into the top). Alan

I am taking a break nothing personal

Always thought it was cool as hell seeing ute conversions. Never truly appreciate just how long these cars are until the rear doors go away.

    Mouldings

On my 65 and once I got the end caps removed which were held on with a screw, I was able to slide the mouldings one way, butterfly clips underneath, and then the other repeatedly until they were removed. Worked for me and put them back on the same way. Kinda like a little puzzle.

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L convertible 4 Speed $70,000 Listed a year ago in Phoenix, AZ

Probably $20-25K too much, hence why it hasn't sold.

How did the factory paint these pieces?

I'm not sure how the black is painted, but the emblem itself is anodized aluminum. The aluminum is cast, polished and then anodized. BTW, most all of that stuff isn't made by Chrysler and from what I've seen, there's more handwork done then you would expect, especially 50+ years ago. It...

    vintage pics of downtown America

CarX at 102nd St & Western Ave in Chicago. In 1978 there was a 68 Dart and an A100 parked out front, today there is a Chrysler 300 parked out front when the Google car went by.

72 New Yorker with cassette player

Wow! How rusty is it? Seats and door panels look perfect, carpet even looks great! This is a highly optioned car in great colours. I hope you may consider selling it whole rather than parting.

How did the factory paint these pieces?

From the mane plates on my cars, plus others I've seen from other manufacturers, IF the paint was sprayed, as they age and the paint deteriorates, you CAN see from which direction the spray gun was placed as the parts were sprayed. Especially on items which had sharp edges on them. This is...

For Sale 1969 Chrysler Wheel Cover Deep Dish Deluxe HubCap

For Sale - I have one good 1969 Chrysler optional deep dish wheel cover. I actually have a set of four of these caps, but 3 of them are dinged and curb rashed, and therefore not really worth shipping, since they each weigh in at about seven pounds. This one cap is nice, with one very small...

How did the factory paint these pieces?

I could imagine that they had some sort of template that they pressed against the face and then a quick dusting of black paint. I sprayed mine all black and then took a rag soaked in lacquer thinner wrapped around a little piece of cardboard and wiped the shiny surface right away. Did this for...

    Windshield compatibility 1971 Newport

My son who is also a member here that posts even less than I do but he keeps in touch with Wyatt and the other guys in the area on the side, had a helluva time finding a windshield for his 72 wagon. I had to go all the way to Murray Park to get one and pay out the nose for a used one at that...
