  1. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Last T&C

Hot damn! I bought mine yesterday. Just in time: it was the only copy I saw on the rack.

NOT MINE 1969 Plymouth furry $6,500 Listed 45 weeks ago in Santa Paula, CA

Well, the ad title does read “Plymouth Furry.” :p
  3. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

(not mine) Dodge motorhome with 440 Near Grand Rapids, MI

Not to mention that the smoke and gases produced are highly toxic—including cyanide depending on the construction materials!

NOT MINE 68 Newport Custom 2dr, lt blue with dk green interior, buckets/console, $20,500 ebay, Myrtle Beach

Even without the good car as reference, the faulty work stands out in my eyes like a sore thumb!

NOT MINE 68 Newport Custom 2dr, lt blue with dk green interior, buckets/console, $20,500 ebay, Myrtle Beach

“It was originally pea green and we completely disassembled it and painted it panel by panel. It is a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix blue.” My immediate thought: “Oh, why?!?” And… :wtf:
  6. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Original 1977 Newport Photos

If only some of us would be/would have been so lucky to find this kind of bonus when house hunting!
  7. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Epic Whoops thread.

“I’m so fired!” “The sleigh worked just fine all these years. Should’ve known better!”

How to remove odor from the steering wheel of a 67 Fury?

Luckily my wagon doesn’t have that smell. That’s an awful lot of plastic so the breakdown must be potent. My observation is more like vomit than skunk for the screwdrivers.

    Bye Bye Fuselage

Ooh, look at all that GREEN! Triple pickle at its finest. One of my pet peeves about new 21st-century cars is the lack of color choices. I prefer blue or earthy hues, but that plush green interior looks so much more hospitable than most anything today.
  10. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

Least equipped c body I've ever saw

I’d have fun taking it to work as a good conversation-piece commuter car. Not that I could even think of buying, paying for importing, etc. Easy to understand ticking the box for power steering!

    Newport Stripper

LOL indeed! It’s hard for me to imagine buyers, by the late 1960s, wanting a 3-on-the tree and no power steering on a Chrysler. I wonder how many left the factory that way.
  12. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    1967 Newport

Exactly the same interior as in the one that was in my family throughout my childhood and beyond.

I gotta buy me a copy of that issue!

Good thing they put the Teslas somewhere else:

That’s awesome! I’d love to see the rest of the house.
  16. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    How many are left?

Way up at the top of the best looking lowriders I’ve seen.
  17. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Remember when?

    I want one!
  18. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Remember when?

Man I would’ve loved that as a kid! And/or I would’ve kvetched that it wasn’t modeled after a Chrysler.
  19. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Remember when?

As a kid, my favorite “character” was the Dodge truck shown here. I loved seeing it in action!
