    1971 Plymouth Fury Custom

This looks like the spec for my Custom. Although the 3 speed wiper is yet to be tested.

I think 69 is vacuum motor, you'll want Topher's electric replacement kit. IMHO rebuilding the vacuum ones is a waste of time if you just want functional doors. Especially with any engine upgrades that diminish vacuum.

    1971 Plymouth Fury Custom

Different plants coded differently. Some plants code V01 with vinyl tops and some don't. Some plants use the paint code twice even on convertibles. The application of V01 code and use of one or two paint codes on a tag varies year to year and plant to plant. Whether or not V01 even appears on a...

    1971 Plymouth Fury Custom

Thank you for the A07 info. The good thing from the back and forth, is that we now know the code for the Custom’s interior, at least on a 4dr: D2XA. And we have a real life example of what it looked like.

Here's one description of A07 for 71 C body. The luggage rack reference is likely because the car was a station wagon.

    Brake system overhaul - '71

I ordered these a couple months ago too, and just got around to using them. I contacted rock, they said "because your order is over 30 days old, you're flucked." Which is understandable. I sent an email to Raybestos tech help with photos; I'll give it a 1% chance that I'll get a reply, 0.01%...

Maybe we never know what we will get. Rock has been good about taking back whatever doesn't match the picures so far. Yep, the flatter it is, the faster it cracks.

72 New Yorker with cassette player

I prefer the cassette player. Always seemed more durable. And wil a good home entertainment system you could record your own music. I remember recording one 2 LPs on a 90 min. Cassette. Played the LP one time then stored, thus preventing scratches and pops on the LP through over playing on the...
