I got a good deal on this gear box. It was said to be for my car. But when I got it I could clearly see that it falls short of matching up on several fronts. Just wondering if there's a way to make this gear box work in my car? Maybe it's just a case the wrong part. Here's a picture of the one...

This is actually Chrysler Green DE1619. Go figure. Looks like blue to me too.

I might have to try that. No luck finding anything new or aftermarket.

I've been working on doing a rear main seal and found allot of notches cut out of the crankshaft. If there's any machinists here I'm curious why these were made. Check out my video: Dropbox

I'm in the process installing a new oil pan gasket on my 1968 Polara with a 383. Fyi, I've got a 187 type pan. There are two brackets that run from the back part of the pan flange to the front cover of the bellhousing. Since both of them are cracked in two (see pic). I'm wondering how necessary...

I got the rack out tonight. Now I see what you mean. The center link has no ball joints. They're all on the idler arm, Pitman arm... Thanks all!
