Better yet is is cast iron or aluminum. for aluminum I can get one, for cast I can make a arm by cutting off the old one and spot weld it on the new unit.

The upholstery job sucks, I use to do a lot of it working for the dealership and it's not that hard. Engine and rad looks like it was pressure washed and spray bombed over the rust, sloppy job when you can see it in small pictures.

Your not much further north than me, maybe it's a humidity thing, but I fought it for a while and almost put a manual choke on it, but put the holes in to try and that worked great.
