NOT MINE 1972 Newport $800 New Orleans, LA

Why would he scrap a car for a leaking seal? The whole thing seems odd. It's way too nice a car to demo derby, but of course that doesn't stop the derby guys

NOT MINE 1955 Plymouth Plaza Wagon $5,900 Listed a week ago in Tucson, AZ

"Very similar to a 55 Chevy but..." what an odd thing to say. I mean, it's "very similar" to every other '55 car at that rate. It'd be nice to see a car like this restored rather than stay in its "patina" era, a look that I see as just a lazy man's approach to restoration. "It's only original...

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler newport $7,000

Anyone else tired of the term "survivor" being over-used? Any old car that is still around is obviously a "survivor" or it wouldn't still be here. People now use it regardless of car condition or even originality.

NOT MINE 1958 Savoy 4 door Sedan 24,000.00 (Calif I think)

Damn, that's a graphic picture to paint!

NOT MINE Blue 1971 Plymouth Fury, Three On The Tree!

It's amazing how much dressier the car looks with just body coloured wheels and whitewalls! Such a big impact for such a small change. I certainly agree to keep it original, as that's my jam, but I can see why some may have been annoyed if they didn't order wheel covers and ended up with black...

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler newport $10,000

That's a very pretty car, but the Tremclad-bombed trunk area is a bit of an eyebrow-raiser...

    NOT MINE '65 Ghia Limo.

The light blue-on-light blue must have been stunning when new... the fact that this guy wanted to do it Plum Crazy shows that his head isn't in the right place for a car like this; he needs a beater Duster that he can fix-up and use to re-live his teenage glory days, not one of the most...

NOT MINE 68 Newport Custom 2dr, lt blue with dk green interior, buckets/console, $20,500 ebay, Myrtle Beach

LOL got that right. When I was a kid I was all into customization; I loved mags, white letters, etc. But now that so few classic cars still sport their factory look, it's like THAT is the new custom: what people used to do to make their cars look unique now makes them look like everyone else's...

NOT MINE 68 Newport Custom 2dr, lt blue with dk green interior, buckets/console, $20,500 ebay, Myrtle Beach

The blue is a nice colour, but the original green/green/green would have been awesome (at least in my opinion). The ridiculous mags ruin the look of the car yet again...

    NOT MINE 1965 Plymouth Fury

And I'll say it again: blackwalls on a car like this, with full (and dressy) wheel covers, are so cringe. There's a reason whitewalls help with visuals: they make the wheels look bigger by breaking-up the monotony of black that high-profile tires create. I get that, in Canada, our options for...

NOT MINE 1972 Newport 2-door in London (Ontario) - $15k CAD

Probably, but I'm not interested; I got my C-body for much less and I like it much more :)

NOT MINE 1972 Newport 2-door in London (Ontario) - $15k CAD

Looks like the same car, yeah; man, look how much better it looked with whitewalls! A crime he changed-out the tires, and spent no effort in sourcing whites...

NOT MINE 1972 Newport 2-door in London (Ontario) - $15k CAD

I haven't seen this one posted, but it's been for sale for a while! It started at $20k, as I recall... Looks like a nice car, and it'd be even better with its trim put back on and some whitewalls  1972 Chrysler Newport : London | Classic Cars | London | Kijiji Classifieds Text...

Thanks for the decode! Yes, that is "C C26". It was sold new in Nova Scotia, so I have no doubt that it was a Canadian-order car.

In that kind of shape, it should be kept as a well-preserved, fair-weather car only!

NOT MINE 1973 Plymouth gran fury CDN$4,000

Here is my rad support tag. I'd appreciate a decode of what it all means! I see people referring to the rad tag codes a lot on this forum but I don't know them :). I notice the stamped "2" in the upper right-hand corner; does this mean it's the second tag, and there's another one underneath or...

NOT MINE 1973 Plymouth gran fury CDN$4,000

Yup, and I'm hoping to never have to wash it again, either: I give it a dusting before/after every drive and do a soft cloth/diluted car wash hand wipe-down before waxing (once per year is enough). Then, of course, bug hit, tar, sap, etc. removal as-necessary. I've used this technique...
