What did you name your car?

One time I rented a Sebring convertible. I really liked the car and the way it handled with the upgrade Michelin TRX suspension. BUT, as to "gender", everybody I saw driving one in the metro area had gray hair and or curlers in their gray hair! NO masculinity in the customer demographic...

    Herb’s auto obsolete

The site is back up - their cert has been renewed - for another year. It's funny, I was doing some web searches today for something and I was seeing herb's auto coming up on the first page, seemed odd to me for that to happen if the site had gone stale / defunct if indeed they had merged with...

What did you name your car?

Tux came about from TX9 paint code and the black/white theme of the colour combo, I use the name but it's not my favourite. I think it took hold because I had two black Imperials, one was triple black and it got the named TB.

    Cam Concerns 68 Polara w 383

Thanks. I'll have a look at that. I really hate that I went low cost on this. I feel like I set myself up to fail.

    Cam Concerns 68 Polara w 383

As far as "wear pattern indentations", none. As far as "wear patterns", I saw more there than was mentioned. There is a Lunati cam which Summit sells as their cam in a white box which is pretty close to the OEM 383HP cam for a good price. A few threads in here where people have used it for a...

    Rear Speakers

As a point of reference, our '66 Newport came with a factory rr speaker and related fader. A part of a popular option package. I liked the sound quality compared to similar Ford (a bit flat) or GM (upper frequency response limited) radios. Several years later, I got a factory Chrysler rear...

What is this piece on the firewall?

Yes. As I said, it only affects running the AC when the heat and defrost is selected. That is it's only purpose.

    Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

I am certainly no expert but I'm persistent. I've learned a lot over the years. For instance, I had a Jeep FC150 pickup I sold 20 years ago cuz I didn't have the skills to fix the body.... Today I could even though my body skills are still pretty rudimentary... Made the patch for the driver's...

What did you name your car?

Haha chose the car over the wife huh. I’m sorry she felt that way. My dad wouldn’t let me buy a thunderbird bc he deemed them gay. I still want a 66 flair bird

NOT MINE not mine sonic set-up

Howdy Great day The last one that I sold was (intakes, carbs, air cleaners, linkage) no exhaust, no firewall linkage, it is different than one with a regular carb. It is now on a 1960 Polara in a Museum back east. I got $2500.00 for it. I had the makings of another set which I traded away years...

What did you name your car?

My former '73 NYB became known as "Nanner" because it was a big banana boat, proudly showcasing its flamboyant coat of DY2 wherever it went. The car was also deemed to be gay (said the ex wife). The '71 doesn't have a name yet, other than "the GA4".

What did you name your car?

I do understand your sentiment. I always did it to just add that touch of character to the machines

What did you name your car?

I named a couple of vehicles back in the 1990s. Since then, No. To me, they are machines that I like. They have no sex and no name.
