    I have the C-4166-A tester. It tests 4-pin ECUs okay, but the Ballast Auxiliary Circuit light will indicate a fault, because the fifth pin for that is not there. The earlier C-4166 without the C-4166-1 adapter might not test correctly, but I have not used one of those. I haven't even used mine...
