Nice Nos 68 Fury Head lamp bezel still box. Part #2786087. I believe this paint scheme is Sport Fury only but I don't know for sure so please view the pics. This is in very nice shape and you could not restore, repair re-anodise and paint one for the price. It will fit other 68 Fury models too...
Finding anything in scale for the 69 through 74 C bodies is rare. Im always on the lookout. Found a 1:43 Chrysler 300 Hurst and a pack of matches from 1971. See pics.
The scenery here in Colorado is why I can't move. I've tried but just can't bring myself to leave. (even with CO's problems)
It is a SOLID car for sure. That's why I have a soft spot for Rocky Mountain cars, very little rust.
I wasn't trying to make great photos, It's just that the places...
Very nice nos LH taillight bezel for a 1969 sport fury, fury III and VIP. This is an excellent condition and in the original box. I am only selling because I purchased a complete nos tail light assembly and do not need this piece. I doubt you could re-chrome a pitted one for the price. $225 and...
He forgot to mention ONE way to get rid of the heat riser issue, which is to use some aftermarket aluminum cyl heads, with no heat riser passages. It would double the price of the conversion, but that is one way to do it.
I agree with the cooling effect of the carb venturi situation on the...
Probably built after January 1st because of the 4 headlights. I wonder where the picture was taken? In 1969 one of the sandwich shop owners in Northeast Philadelphia had a beautiful '57 white DeSoto convertible.
Hi, I purchased the 71 four door Monaco years ago for the 489 limited slip center section and the disk brakes for use on my 67 Fury. Have some miscellaneous parts left over, including the shell with the four doors, rad support, and bumpers. The car appeared to have been hit on the driver's side...
I've been searching this a while, across various sources. My car has some very nice original wheel covers, but I don't want to lose any, and I've always liked wheels better. I'm not trying to do anything extreme like a donk, lowrider, or pro-touring; just something with a late-60s, early-70s...
Looks to be a Pioneer model. Most Pioneers didn't have the fender spears or the gravel guards. Is it a 318 2 bbl?
It has the same high end mirrors as my 60 Phoenix does. Not many of those left since they were the first unibody cars with no rustproofing. Most rusted out in the first few years.
That looks like a beautiful drive, and if it can do that, I'd say it's a pretty solid car, too! I've always had a soft spot for those wheels - probably because I grew up in conversion van country.

Or just block it open. Wire or otherwise. Blocking off the ports in the intake are very important. Hot exhaust flows through the base of the intake even when the heat riser valve is open. Some intake gaskets block the passage and many guys block it with a piece of sheet stainless steel.
These pics have an eerie appeal. Just the way a 1974 Dodge should end up!
Being from the last week of Newark C-Body production, the car is a rarity in its own right. They didn't happen to publish the fender tag?
273 carbs are just under 500 cfm. Forget formulas, an adjustable secondary like an AVS or TQ will also work. I've run a 340 Thermoquad 750 cfm on a 273 Commando and it worked perfectly. All you have to do is adjust the spring loaded secondary air valve.
