    Remember when?

The original below, circa mid-late 1950's. alleged to be Des Plains. IL. Cars, signage, building, and about the the last time a McDonald's hamburger was 15 cents. The one above is cleverly "shopped" with a BTF movie car, as part of some other thing. source: McDonald's Restaurant Large...

1972-73 IMPERIAL FOR SALE Tracker starting NOW into INFINITY.

No, but it WAS for sale. I thought I had the sale ad saved but can't find it. If yal want I will remove the car from this discussion. It is a discussion thread after all, it has "for sale" in the heading of the thread but not in the sale section and is instead placed in the imperial...

Is the coolant recovery jug a hard to find part? Or is that not stock for the car?

I have a couple sets of the 1970 Chrysler post cards. I tried to sell a set on here, but no one was interested.

That is the little write up that I have so far on this car. Great running , Beater, driver quality car. I wish it didn't have as many issues as it does but it is what it is. The color HB1 BLUE SKY has REALLY grown on me. I've always kind of liked the look on C's but now that I...

Keep in mind, the interior pics are before there has been any cleaning done to the car. (barn fresh I guess) The interior has the typical hole in the drivers seat. Otherwise not so bad. Driver quality I would say. No holes in the headliner, a stain or two. No holes in the back seats or the...

The trunk is decent. Expected since it has been indoors for 15 years or so. You can see the rear end damage on the trunk panel above the imperial insignia.

Uncle Tony's Garage - EFI vs Carburetor & Heat Riser

Seems to be a good argument for keeping a carburetor on our vintage engines. The AVS2 650 I have on my 383 really does work quite well...very snappy performance at all RPM's/load levels and great gas mileage. However, summertime vapor lock issue is present sometimes on 90+ South Carolina summer...

1961 Plymouth Fury Sonoramic Commando FOUR door

Lads -- I've heard the story about the scare SonoRamic Commando Power emblems being shipped in the trunk although I've not been able to confirm it. However, the ones on my Big-Tailed Beast ('60 Fury 2 dr H/T) most likely were installed by using the old Mark I eyeball as there is a 3/4"...

Passengers side isn't so bad. Not much rust. Under trunk has very little to no rust. Just surface. No rust holes on the bottom of the car anywhere.

C-body matches, how cool is that. Back in the days when the salesman and the customer would light up a cig while doing the paperwork on the new car. I'll bet there was a Chrysler ashtray, too.

Cragar and U.S. Wheel both make something like it today, possibly Centerline, too. Back in the 80s, it seems like there were a ton of knock-offs, especially on vans and trucks.
