    318 4-barrel from the factory?

It didn’t come with that Coyote Duster pie tin either, but I think it looks just right. As soon as the warranty was up, the air pump and associated plumbing was removed and put in a box.

    318 4-barrel from the factory?

I bought my 79 road runner new, and still have it. All original with the 318-4, California emissions. $6404. It still runs flawlessly, Lean Burn and all. If I stay out of the secondaries, I get 20 mpg on long highway trips. Love my Time Machine !

    318 4-barrel from the factory?

The 318-4 bbl package was introduced in 1978 for California vehicles with 318 engines. The guys at the Chrysler proving grounds in Michigan were the ones who released final emission calibrations at that time, and they only introduced 2 bbl 318 engines for California that ran like crap, so bad...

    A74 code on 1970 senior Dodges (and A71 A75 A76 too!)

We probably had a car of later September build that didn't have a Fratzog and September 11th was the last car, which made us determine mid month. Probably.

    Stub frame swap

Within the SAME generation, things can happen. NOT within the same generation, architectural differences exist, as to where and how things mount. Like the stubframe to the cabin area AND the core support. So, you need something from the "slab" years, '66-'68, generally. You'll NEED to get...

ENGINE removal question on 66 Chrysler 300

And the subframe has the parking brake cable and brake lines to remove also. You can remove front suspension from the subframe or K member just fine when it's in the car.

ENGINE removal question on 66 Chrysler 300

If the engine needs rebuilt, doesn't all the suspension parts need to be addressed as well? Besides, my first post wasn't much different than what others posted. But if the engine has issues, surely the suspension does too. Just saying!

    Electronic ignition conversion tips

Since the Ambassador is still using points then as soon as it got the car I did a search for NOS and old OEM points and condensers. Was able to to acquire 5 sets for the AMC and while at it four sets for Fords in case. The points in that AMC run just fine. I'll keep my mouth shut about...

    New Yorker burnout

I love watchin burnouts gone bad! Its amazing that some many people with so much horsepower never seem to know when to get off the gas!! My 2013 SRT Challenger did all the burnouts I could stand! I just hate when some people go until they blow up the tires and tear off the rear quarters off!To...

    New Yorker burnout

I'll tell ya foot flat to the floor in 1st and shifting a 727 to 2nd without lifting off the throttle scrambles the internals lol I've junked several. That being said I have 4 kids all under 10... when they want burnouts. I deliver. From my cars to my daily driver truck or my Honda civic 5speed...

    Stub frame swap

The '75 is going to be longer with rubber mounts. The '67 will be shorter and solid mounted. That's not looking at size or mounting locations which I suspect will be different.

ENGINE removal question on 66 Chrysler 300

Much harder. All the front-end sheet metal comes off, bumper, grille, radiator support etc. Except for releasing the tension on the torsion bars, the suspension doesn't need to come apart like a K-frame on like a B-body, but that's the only advantage. Basically, everything from the firewall...
