Indeed. I do not understand why this has not come up in my feed. Stupid fakebook. I wonder what he would take. New tires. Curious if he fixed the jabbering exhaust. Young fella, wanted it bad. First car for the youngin.

    My new Wagon!

Ahh crap. I open my mouth, finger tips, whatever and I am wrong. I forget often that E bodies are so different than C bodies. My apologies for any misguiding I did there. I should have cross referenced my information before I typed. So E63 on a C body is 330 horse and painted blue only...

I found one pic online that looks like it has a spring on the gears. The extra parts on the gears just flop around and don't do anything but looks like it should hook to something. I'll keep searching because I know a lot of the 60s wipers looked the same.

Although he means it in jest... It wouldn't be the first time for such a rebuke on that.

    The Hurst Registry

The red in the stripe isn't as red as the grille, which was REALLY red, so maybe it's a camera thing. And the red grille could very likely be a replacement (or a partial replacement and subsequent removal of the remaining SB Yellow on the original parts) from a regular 300 due to front end...

    We have lost Rip

That's one of the best obits I've ever read, it was obviously put together by someone that knew him well (or was at least given a lot of info) and knew how to tie it all together. If I had known more about him he and I would've talked model trains, too.

    The Hurst Registry

Nope, no way to clarify on that, it was 20 years ago. I had no detailed knowledge like that of a Hurst, I think I learned that day that it had an inside-only trunk release. I don't even remember the guy's name. Here's a zoom of the other pic, which has another paint blemish circled. My guess is...
