    Steering wheel position

Thinking of a 56-year-old car (or anything else) from 1969 makes me feel like Rip van Winkle. :wideyed:

NOT MINE Another ‘70 Polara vert..

We don't know it was traded in. There could have been a variety of reasons it was there. I was sure surprised to see it there even in 2000.

    Newport interior question

Sweet car! Some of the contemporaneous Winnebago/Itasca RV interiors had similar upholstery. Design with character: how quaint! I wonder if the gray hard panels have lost color due either to UV or oxidation. The soft vinyl in my ’74 T&C still has its factory blue color, while all the hard...

NOT MINE Another ‘70 Polara vert..

Whe that car was traded in at the dealership where the owner bought it, and if it was used by the previous owner as a daily driver in the Chicagoland area, it saw a lot of salt. Maybe saw salty roads in NJ too. Most dealerships wouldn't take a car full of bondo in as a trade today like they used...

What did you name your car?

My 2018 Ram I named Betty White when I bought it brand new. I need it to last a long time like Betty white because I’ll never be able to afford a new truck again. My 65 Sport Fury was named Agnes by my aunt. She said it just looks like an Agnes. And it stuck.

This is great!!! I'd love to see one in Turbine Bronze. (I'd really love to see a 67 Newport in Turbine Bronze, but that's just being selfish . . . ) :)

    Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

Interesting, everything I’ve seen says the base 300 engine in 66 was the 325 horse 383. Curious. Travis..

    Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

Dodge and Chrysler both had a 383-4 with single exh, rated at 315 hp, in 65 (edit - not in 66, apparently). Single exh and single snorkel would be correct. Plymouth 383-4 got dual snorkel/dual exh and 325hp rating (often noted as 330) - no 315hp versions in Plymouth. The Chrysler/Dodge...
