    Scale models and other collectables

I saw that. Interesting model and would, take some effort to make the 71 New Yorker trim items too. The cosworth vega never had a model either. Someone made a decal set for it. And a cosworth bda engine is available in scale too. Took some, time to find the correct wheels.

ENGINE removal question on 66 Chrysler 300

Dam, was hoping removing the engine in the 73' Imperial would be like removing the K-frame in my A body. Yikes. Better get mentally prepared.

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

I am sorry to report that PM27G0D160750 was recently scrapped. The car had lost its heart and was put up for sale, as a parts car, near Philly a month ago -- I found the CL ad today by chance. I reached out to the owner after discussing the car with members @70 Sport Suburban @71Polara383...

    Bigsexy 's 904

My son and I got the tired (and dirty) 904 out of the 69 Fury. I have never built a trans., but I have built many engines. We are doing a Magnum 360 engine build too (but will look exactly like the original 318), so we're going to build the transmission up a little bit. looking forward to it...

    14” white lines?

I’m looking for a set of 14” white line tires to get the perfect stock look on my 1972 Satellite wagon. They seem almost impossible to find these days. Does anyone know a source for them? I’m in Canada which doesn’t help with sourcing some.

What are you working on today??

Work progresses on the pantry / bookcase door. I aligned the frame with the opening and marked where the top pin will be. Next will be to hog out the top jamb for the top pin mechanism. The bookcase doors are taken from the old master bath vanity, which matches the style of the kitchen cabinets.

@RWCearley I didn't tag you into this as it's a 70, but with a little effort it could get a different grille and taillights to become a 71? And sand off any 300 emblems. 1/10-scale 3D-printed Chrysler 300 And BTW - I have the same countertop pattern as you!

    NOT MINE 1970 polara convertible

Yeah, I've often wished there were some means for incomplete/rough cars to be collected and the roughest of them used to make others better. Sounds like a JY, but I'm talking about what 71Polara383 is talking about. It's just not financially practical.

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

Thanks to @cuda hunter and @71Polara383 for getting the fender tag. Early build (consistent with the @Fratzog bumper): SBD was August 20, 1969. This FY6 1970 Polara 'vert is still for sale in Arkansas. @polara71

    NOT MINE 300 Hurst.

Noah, can you give us your Door Sticker date? I'm guessing it's June 1970 but it could be May. Those dates are one of the key efforts of the Registry in an attempt to determine the "batches" that went to and from the Hurst facility. We need a lot of data from a lot of cars to eventually...

Uncle Tony's Garage - EFI vs Carburetor & Heat Riser

Ironically, my 318s got pretty substantial highway usage and still plugged the crossover. And yeah, that crap is near-rock-hard, and a chisel is the best tool. It'll ruin a screwdriver for sure.
