Dual Exhaust Systems on 1972 and 1973 Chrysler models with 440 engines Question

One of the things I really like about Waldrons Exhaust Systems is that they offer a good choice of exhaust systems that achieve the kind of sound that you prefer. I would suggest you contact them to see what they could recommend to achieve your goals. They even have sound tracks that you can...

    Ignition Switch for 1958 Imperial

Just to throw a wrench in the whole works, it looks like my '58 Imperial was retrofitted with a later 4-prong ignition switch. I am only guessing this is what was used in a '59 Imperial, but I'm not sure. What's more, it is still using a set-screw to mount it to the dash. I'm not even sure how...

    1963 Imperial Dual Exhaust Companies

My '63 Imperial came with a single exhaust that looks to have seen multiple repairs over the years. I'm planning to install a dual setup. Ideally, I'd like a nice V8 rumble, but not annoyingly loud, and not a "dump truck" sound either. It's a completely stock engine, I don't need anything...

Suggestions for a "Performance" muffler that isn't too loud

I found this question while looking for an answer to something else, but it hit me right in the feels. Good for you, man, trying to take care of your wife's injury so she can join you for a ride. One thing I haven't seen anyone mention: electric cutouts, like these...

    Ignition Switch for 1958 Imperial

It almost sounds like there is a different ignition switch for 1957, 1958, 1959 and 1960, at least for Imperial. This does seem a bit unlikely, but what do I know? From what I can gather, the Ignition switch looks like it should be the 3-prong type. This is what I see in the Service Manual...

Horn constantly staying on when key is turned on.

I sure wish the Service Manual provided more detail than this in the horn circuit. It basically shows nothing more than a black/white wire going from the horn switch to the relay. It is much more complicated than that. From what I gather, the wire goes about 8" from the switch through the column...

    Ignition Switch for 1958 Imperial

I just looked on sleaze bay —- certainly a discrepancy for 1957 and 1959 ?!?! They all list it as 1957 - 1958 and not 1959 , Whereas Standard lists it as 1958 - 1959 — ALL — ONLY —- The 1770040 on Sleaze Bay —- Hiltop has it @ $ 125 —- and they are usually OVER the sky is the limit….. Bernbum...
