    Disc brake one more time

Wish I heard about AAJ earlier. The ECI brackets are great, but definitely put a dent in the wallet getting it, and getting the calipers and other hardware off rockauto could only help so much.

For Sale 1968 imperial convertible #s match runs $2900 cad

Sorry to ask, but what do you mean you are unsure of its' fate, not parts surely? Too good and too rare for that. Also I'm amazed it hasn't sold, but I've said that before. Good luck

circa 1930, located at 260 Center Street, Taft California. Nothing architecturally distrinctive. Woulda bet it was gone. Perhaps not?? I think, with obvious facade mods, it has survived almost a century.

    1968 Polara Steering Gearbox

I searched that number high and low and even changed the 5 to an 8 to see if the results would be different. No luck. The new box def looks a mopar PS unit as I looked up units from the same year from GM and Ford... totally different. I also searched Lares, Cardone and BBB. The closest match I...

RockAuto. I've learned to take the good with the bad when buying from them. But admittedly, there's been a heck of a lot of bad lately.

    1968 Polara Steering Gearbox

The casting number means nothing as to your vehicle, other than it was on it. The casting number DOES relate to the mounting pads/holes and such, though. It does not specify what's inside that housing, which means the effort level of the internal torsion bar, or the other things which were...

Dome lamp part 2, 69 Polara

Yes. If your little door switches are busted/unplugged they won't trigger the domelight to come on with the doors. Basically all the way forward is full dome. Then with the switch back it should shield the light and force it through the little slot to put a narrow beam of light right into the...

My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

I didn’t feel good about the old head pipe on the driver’s side so I fabricated a new one and it turned out great. The pipes are finished, I’m just going to clean and maybe paint the manifolds before I install them for good.
