69 and 70 have different ignitition switches and steering columns.
Thus the electrical will be different as well.
70 also has an electronic voltage regulator..69 was electro- mechanical.
As John says enough differences that warrant a proper shop manual.

The round right outside mirror for 69 and 70 Fuselage C bodies is scarce.
It was an option that nobody cared to order.

On my 68 Newport ( ditto my 67 Monaco) I used a deep socket on a wobble extension.
I put the screen in the socket and insert into the jug upside down and start the threads by turning the washer motor.
Once you have the thread started you can tip the jug upright or sideways and crank her down...
Amber is for 68 models thanks to federally mandated safety requirements.
Yes it does fit 67 cars.
67 had clear lenses with amber bulbs.

I could be wrong but I thought you could only get a 4 speed or 727 behind that engine?
My guess is the wagon was ordered for towing.
