New project: Allen Engine analyzers, restoration?

Ok I got my glow plug installed and it heats up, but still no signal to my gauges although I have power to them and the indicators are working. The gauges do sweep when I turn them off. Time to test the circuit board.

Oscilloscope purchase advice for testing electronics

I got it, read the manual, watched a few videos and got to work. For a minute I struggled as the first point I tested doesn’t seem to be right. Then I tried couple other test points and found that the auto set worked great. I will post some of my questions and test results in my analyzer...

    64 Imperial Fires Up

Been working on installing the front disc brakes, but took a break from that to surface the transmission. One of the things I like to do on all Mopars with a 727 is install a later 518/46rh transmission pan and extended pickup. As most of you know, and for those of you who don't, 64 727...

    Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

i think its cool, but also doubt its a "police car". i'd need pieces of paper as i dont believe there is sufficient physical evidence to confirm its true pedigree. might be "real", might be cloned. i have no interest in it as an historical law enforcement vehicle, but again i do like it...

    Gasoline

And if you can’t find non ethanol run an additive to negate the ill effects of the ethanol. I use marine 2 cycle oil added with every fill up. At least 1oz per every five gallons.

    Radio removal fail

Okay so I finally had time to take a look how to remove the radio, and it has some weird Chrysler removal bits. Lame. The removal procedure is as follows: 4 or 5 black screws along the bottom, you will have to be in your back for these. I recommend removing the 4 screws to remove the column...

    Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

From my readings, there were never any 4-speed factory police cars. Whether it is an original 4-speed car and dolled as a copcar remains to be seen. But my hunch is it's not an original copcar, and not an original 4-speed car either. To my belief, this is not a factory PRNDL black-out plate...
