    Hubcaps restoration

LOTS of taping-off of the stainless steel areas will be very time-consuming, I suspect. THEN getting the surfaces prepared for ultimate paint will be similar, I suspect. NOT that it can't be done, or even do sections of all of them at the same time in an assy line situation, but it will take...

Looking at 1972 Imperial, needs engine

OTHER than the obvious powertrain issues, do NOT forget about the vinyl top issues! Once moisture travels though the aged vinyl covering, which is really a "coated fabric" situation, the moisture can then dampen the "backing" of the top fabric and hold that moisture there just like sane holds...

For Sale 1974 Imperial Steering Wheel

Hi Robert, The wheel is free from major imperfections. I believe there is some checking present and possibly some small gouges. Truth be told it’s been in storage for a long time so I don’t entirely remember what condition it’s in. I will get better pictures later today when I get home

Is there not a Member’s Rig(s) section within the FLF?

What I did was to look at the string of forum designations at the top of the post, which included "Forward Look Forums". Barely saw it up there, in the lighter-color print.

    Underhood Ammeter Bypass

One nagging thought I have about this whole thing is, we NEVER know if a current or prior owner had even added something into the factory wiring or had made some "mods" to the factory wiring before their particular melt-down happened? I had previously heard of how "bad" the wiring was on the...

Motors and trans are easy to find. Please snap a pic of that trim tag. Ask about broadcast sheet or stick your phone under the seat to see if one is there. Can't wait to see more pics. Is it a two door or a more door?

classic car as a daily driver in California

With that LS swap, modern suspension, disc brakes, and AC the title might be better suited as “Driving a classic looking car as a daily driver….” Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to pull something like that off. Maybe even figure out a way to convert a classic car to an EV. But IMHO, she is driving...
