Is the ‘Certicard’ in the engine bay common?

Hello everyone. I’m a new member but had found this forum a few years back when I was looking around for 1967 Monaco information. I have a 1967 Monaco convertible that my dad had bought locally in the early 1980s. Under the hood is this card with the original owners name on it. Note this...

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

Hey Jan! 375 HP 440 has a 268 degree camshaft in it...same as in the roadrunner 383. Standard 350 HP 440 has a 252 degree camshaft. Not much else but I think the 375 HP 440 has a windage tray similar to the roadrunner 383. Same 906 heads on all 383's and 440's in 1968. 375 HP 440 has the...

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

Thanks a lot!!! Could you please tell me what are the differences between regular 440 and 440 TNT? Apart of obvious visual things like an air intake. Cheers

Don't let that stop you. If the price is right and the car is already restored go for it.

    67 Fury front suspension rebuild

Sorry if someone already mentioned this. Once everything was unbolted, I was able to free the torsion bar by giving a good whack to the front side of the lower control arm right on the nut that secures it to the K member. Everything moved backwards and came apart (LCA and torsion bar, that is)...

    Found this beauty

It’s rare that it still works. @sixpkrt has a 1969 Imperial whose AutoTemp works too. The problem, afaik, is fixing it if it goes bad. Look at the posts by @saforwardlook in particular.

    Looking to build a 1972 LA360

Hello everyone, I’ve been leaning on eventually building a new engine and transmission for my 72 Polara, as of recent my a904 is taking its sweet time to go into reverse and sometimes drive. The current engine is a 360 and healthy so I’ll drive it till it can’t. But I have an itch for more. I...

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

The L in the VIN and the 83 on the fender tag tell us this is the TNT 375 horse engine. The 26 on the small tag is simply an inspection stamp. Somebody did their job, inspected something and punched the tag. The purpose of the fender tag is a durable traveling marker so different people...

In 68 these are the SO number and not the VIN. In 68 the VIN is NOT stamped anywhere else on the car. 1968 VIN locations Dash VIN tag Broadcast sheet Window Sticker Certi-Card Alan

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

Thank you, will try to find these in weekend. Is this number a VIN or one of the DATA numbers? If these will be data - any chance VIN is stamped anywhere apart of the windshield plate on the dash??

Paint and or rust can easily fill them in, on this one (a 69) the cowl one was not detectable at all till I took a wire brush to it. The trunk one may have adhesive hiding it. Alan
