Thanks to @Rusty2020 we have CM27T0C114827. Nicely loaded ER6 Crimson with white interior and white top. She is currently for sale in TX. SBD was Sept. 8, 1969. This is #107 of the T-Code 300 'vert survivors in my records.

Once you do that, turn to page 9-21 and the procedure is right there.
The short answer is there is no need to jack the engine, although you may need to turn the crank so the pan clears as you pull it out.
It’s a very presentable car, besides the H53 it has some rust bubbles on the trunk panel, rear electric windows need help, antenna needs help, clock, fuel gauge. Runs and rides nice. Engine wasn’t rebuilt it was painted.
