Did this actually make it to production? I have never seen one at any show, or anywhere for that matter.

New project: Allen Engine analyzers, restoration?

What started as Voodoo, is starting to make a lot of sense. The Oscilloscope also really helped me better understand the circuits, as I could physically read and better follow what the schematic was telling me. I still need to brush up on how the 8 pin amplifiers actually work and what...

New project: Allen Engine analyzers, restoration?

I am getting a way better understanding of this set up. Before the Infrared light can be read on the photo detector, the sync has to tell it which side should be read and then it converts the difference into voltage. Without the wheel "chopper" cutting the phototransistor off (little notch in...

New project: Allen Engine analyzers, restoration?

Well thanks to the site you linked yesterday I sent Inquiries on the Phototransistors and since and some capacitors. I figured if they have it and I would likely have a $10 minimum shipping charge, I would see If I could get all from one site. Fingers crossed. Thanks again for the link. It...

    Greetings, various restoration issues

Welcome! Bailey the Beluga whale looks great! ( see Finding Nemo movie lol) I would test the blower motor resistor first before condeming the motor. You can run a jumper wire directly to the motor. If it works then replace the resistor. The resistor is a common part the was used all across the...

    NOT MINE 1971 Imperial 2-door.

Even when parked inside an unheated garage, mold can happen. If the car was under an el cheapo tarp the interior would not breathe and accelerate the mold process. One of the reasons to use a quality car cover the breathes. Plus have a window cracked open and run a fan in the garage to move the...

    Greetings, various restoration issues

Hi there, New member here. I'm buying a 1972 Dodge Polara coupe, and it has a few issues so I have elected to post here under "restoration" as they are not specific to one area. Firstly, I have heat but no fan activity. I think the heater core is good but it needs a new blower motor. I have...

    NOT MINE 1971 Imperial 2-door.

Sure is a filthy mold / mildew mess. It basically needs completely redone as the health risk of not getting rid of the damage could be serious. Was it really kept inside to get so moldy, especially on the headliner and other surface areas.
