    1962 Package Tray

Hoping someone can tell me what Is original here and what it not. Package tray has a cardboard like stuff on bottom, looks original I think. Then a piece of hardboard with holes drilled in it for the speakers, looks home made. Then the fabric, is the fabric the original stuff? Has a seam in the...

    Weatherstrip adhesive

Well I think I have success finally. 08011 stuck good on the two test pieces that I did. Ripped the rubber trieing to remove them.

    Weatherstrip adhesive

Yea I have the 8008 which is what all the weatherstrip sellers seem to recommend. They also have an 8011, harder to find though. I found some but a 45 minute drive to get it. 8008 is the Super and 8011 is not, well the 8008 is not being to super to me right now. 8011 says Formulated specifically...

    Weatherstrip adhesive

That is exactly what I did. You can peal it right off, no glue residue on the weather strip after you peal it off, looks just like new.

    Weatherstrip adhesive

This is on a 1962 Imperial. There is not clips, push pins or channel that the weather strip goes in. They were all glued on from the factory, so I have no choice.

    Weatherstrip adhesive

Yea might go see what else I can find tomarrow, maybe try the yellow version. Have never had this problem before. Maybe a bad tube? Looks fine, sticky and stringy like always.

    Weatherstrip adhesive

For the rubber molded parts I got from Quirey what do you recomend for adhesive? I am using 3M 8008 and they peal right off, glue not sticking to the rubber at all. I did try cleaning with acetone ahead of time and that made no difference. Just checked the trunk weather strip I did and same...

    Vent Window Adjustment

1962 Crown 4 Door Is there anyway to adjust the hinge on the vent window? Sure doesn't seem like you can. The glass on the vent window sits too far back at the hinge and above it. Glass does not seal on the front edge, and the back edge is actually hitting the division bar frame when you...

    1962 Fire Wall Insulation

Does anyone make a correct fire wall insulation for a 1962. I ordered one from Collectors Auto supply that says it is but it's not even close. The fire wall, kick panels, towel insulation, none of it fits the car.

    Vent window channel felt

Anyone found a replacement for the felt insert that the glass rides in on the vent window division bar. For a 1962 Crown 4 Door. I have a picture of the original and one I just got that I thought would work. It is way too tight for the glass to fit in it.

    62 Wing Window Seals

Door seals are all junk. Vent windows are not terrible but they are never going to seal great, some cracks in them. Might have to try and recondition them and glue the cracks.

    62 Wing Window Seals

Does anyone have new seals for the front wing windows on a 62 Crown 4 door? Also trying to find the correct door gaskets and all I seem to find is generic length of gasket, nothing actually molded correctly.
