First, small block distributor rotation is clockwise, big block is counter clockwise. Both style engines share the same firing order, 1.8.4.3.6.5.7.2. Rotate the engine to T.D.C. firing stroke #1 cylinder and start from there.

My advice is if you can lay your hands on any "C" body, (1974-1978) You can get all the parts you need. Check with the Derby guys out there as these parts are normally removed.

The switch change was done in 1974.

An additional note, The switch is different between Tilt, and Non tilt steering columns.

What size engine do you have? All V8'S have the same firing order, 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, but small block has clockwise distributor rotation, while big block has counter clock wise.

I have the complete wiper system out of a 1976 Newyorker. It is a three speed system, and has new pivot bushings installed. If you are interested send me a PM. Bill

I did this swap before. You need the correct flex plate and torque converter, IE, 318 TO 727. linkage should be ok. You will need to have the driveshaft shortened.

That is the way the trunks came from the factory. Speckle paint.

Also check your antenna connections. You can get FM, with a bad one, but not AM.
