    What is your dream car?

My "dream car" has changed very often since childhood. As a child I wanted a 1968 Plymouth Fury III. Teen years, 1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham. In my 20's, a 1970 Cadillac DeVille convertible. Into my 30's and 40's most mid size GM's 78-86. Into my 50's a 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Now I'm...

    Idle Adjustment Screws

A 383 with two barrel carb will run just fine on todays ethanol blend gas. I've put tens of thousands of miles on several of them all run on ethanol blend fuel and stopping for gas at whatever station was close when I needed fuel and have never had a problem with them running the fuel.

    New to me 440

Got a couple photos of the block pad by the distributor, appears to say J440 cross and then 2 12 E2. And the VIN stamped by the oil rail is 3C226448. Any ideas?

    Center Console Needed

The C body brackets that are welded to the floor can be made yourself and welded or screwed to the trans hump. I had a bench seat and went to buckets and console. Made my own brackets from aluminum bar stock. The tricky part was getting the height right. Would seem easy but it's got to allow...

    Idle Adjustment Screws

Does your Polara have the CAP ignition? Is there a "vacuum solenoid" w 3 connections, one to the manifold, another to the ported vac off the cab, then the 3rd to the distributor? That's the setup for which 5 degrees (or as much as 7) BTDC would be proper. Given the low mileage on the engine...

    Our 67 ragtop

Of all the colours I would choose to paint an engine… mopar turquoise is pretty low on my list. But that’s the colour the rebuilder painted it. I’m assuming its correct. Its getting a 4bbl intake and carb from a 69…

Mopar Man, everything that I find says 383 was painted god awful green in 67… The car came with several grills… I assume the old guy used this one because it was the best one. Since he isn’t around to ask…
