the screws under the windshield gasket cannot be accessed with the windshield still in the car...they would only need to be removed if you wanted to remove the entire metal dashboard ...you don't need to do that if all you are replacing is the dash pad...I don't know if access is better or worse...
My 2008 has 19,000 miles. It was in service but never really on patrol. LONG story about this one....lol. Now that my new truck won't be built until March, I have been driving it. It is like NEW!
I agree. I bought Harbor Freight wrenches in the 80's because a guy I work with said "when they break, throw them in the metal bin". They did but being a "junk man" I saved them. 30+ years later I found out they are Lifetime Warranty. I brought them back and I got new ones that were much better...
Old Mopar 2nd gear ratio allowed plenty torque to reach the rear end, even a fairly tight one like a 2:76. I've found the 2nd gear in my A-833 w the overdrive in my D150 also makes for good acceleration, even w the /6. I think 2nd is rated around 2.45/1 in the 727.
...i went to an "outdoor concert" in the northwest US (Portland area) on a road with younger colleagues (i was approaching 30). Rather than keep my a** in the bleachers, i took the field in the front of the stage. it was a rock band but not a metal genre, and next thing i know people were...

Im looking for cross reference information for 12R4761B carburetors. I have the holley list number page open and I have not been able to find the series or family of carbs that would share parts. 4761 does not show on the list.
I have googled several list numbers but have not found anything...
I use these a lot. When I started to look for another pair, I decided to spend $10 and buy 5 of them. Yep, cheap and they won't last forever, but I have multiple sets all over the house. Mrs. Big John commandeered a set too. Great for a lot of things and if you screw them up, who cares? Grab...
What's code on the tube vent? perhaps cheap out and install a window, in Wisconsin, they have to be wrapped with insulation LOL or really cheap, leave the door open and a can of freshener
so, I understand, remove everything, leave the column, leave the windshield, smush the glovebox, what did you do about the screws under the windshield gasket? I'm about to tackle my dash pad replacement, 68 polara
I spotted this Crown Vic black & white in SF the weekend after Thanksgiving, still in service (actually two of them). This gave me a glimmer of hope that the world hasn't ended just yet. :usflag:
Everyone should have a set of flush cuts in their arsenal. These make it so when you cut the tail of a zip tie off its completely smooth, thus no more scratched hand and torn gloves when working near installed zip ties. My favorite ones are these long handle ones. They seem to reach right...
Mike,
haha... done that many times.
If you look close in the 4th picture you will see where I have the plumbed in pipes for a sink and turlet.
They've already got it framed in this morning using 2x6 studs.
With this years budget stretched out to the max with this project, the final plumbing...
