So just a follow up… the one from Vans is exactly correct for the 65 New Yorker. Looks like the original cable in every way (except shinier lol). Thanks to all of you who chimed in on this thread. I know that some of you mentioned having one made using the old ending from the original cable...

Thanks Mike! I am supposed to receive the Vans cable I ordered tomorrow. I will try to install it on Wednesday. If it doesn't work then I might just follow your lead and go with Bob's. Thanks!

For what it’s worth I went ahead and ordered the one from Vans. I asked them first if they were confident it was the right one and they stated it was. As it turns out Bernbaum said their cable isn’t the correct one for the 65 New Yorker. If the one from Vans isn’t it I believe the Mopar Mall...

My speedo cable finally gave up the ghost so I’m needing a new one. I keep finding conflicting OEM part #’s for it so I can’t decide where to find the correct cable. It’s a 65 without the auto-pilot. Anyone know where I could get one? Thx Kona
