I saw that these cars at the Dead Man’s Curve show in Somerset NJ this past Labor Day. They are spectacular.

To me the '63-'64 Chryslers were very odd. Post Exner, but they don't really reflect Engle's vision in '65 either. About the only thing I like is the dash layout with the round gauges. You can try to flip it, but I've seen these sit around Marketplace and Ebay for a long periods of time.

$1,300??? Last I checked scrap value was $500. Is there even a usable part on this car?

What year is this from? Looks like the same as '70-'71. I think '72 is slightly different.

Thanks all. I think the cable is engaging into the speedometer at least. I spun the cable with the drill just before attaching the cable to the transmission and I got the needle to move, but I had to kick the drill up a bit in speed and it moved to about 40mph. While driving it a appears that...

....but the odometer moves. I removed the cluster last month to clean and fix some electrical issues and check on the non-functioning speedometer. The cable was bad and then the tip broke off. I replaced the cable and reassembled. The speedometer tested good with the drill on the cable end...

I've actually seen the same wheel lip trim on some 1970 Newports as well. As Big John said above, the rocker trim is exclusive to the 300.
