The black console plate looks to me like some textured ABS screwed into place. Console does not appear to have the correct hump on hte side for the shifter tower. Unless it's hiding under a bad carpet job - but I don't think so. Shifter seems to be in the center of the console, and not offset...

What Year and Model Does This Hood Ornament Fit?

That is a lot of snow, sugar or cocaine on that car pictured. Here in Tempe, AZ that sight would stop all traffic and cause hysteria and heart attacks. It was 82 F last week here. One summer years ago it was 122 F and I was here for that. They closed the airport as they had no info on how much...

Just remembered I had trans rebuilt last year so maybe I'm getting neutral safety but not reverse. I'm told there may be different parts in different age trans. It was not my original because the sun gears had blown up.

I totally made a new harness yesterday from transmission to fuse box as it had been patched several times. I have great continuity from trans to fuse box, across fuses, and from connector in left kick panel to lights. Replaced trans switch and still likes don't work. Checked trans and...

Check for spark. You may have toasted a fusible link with all the messing around.

    Anyone have old catalogs?

Interesting how Walker shows a 2-piece engine pipe and no resonator and Ap/Goerlich has a 1-piece engine pipe and a resonator. OEM shows a resonator too but looks like a 1-piece engine pipe.

    Having starting issues

Your choke is closed (or practically closed) when trying to start it? Maybe try a compression test. Fully charge the battery, and keep it on the charger during the test. All the other usual stuff - take out all plugs, hold the throttle open, disconnect power to the ignition. Maybe spray a...

    Having starting issues

ok, here’s the newest update. Replaced the starter, can now cranks but refuses to start. Getting fuel, spark, battery. It’s also making this strange quit hissing sound after I crank it, like it’s got an air leak. I even restabbed the distributor thinking that it was 180 off. No luck. Running out...

Following is the listing image for Walker. Also listing images for AP and Goerlich's. AP and Goerlich's images are the same but a few numbers differ. The companies started separately, but following the purchase of the AP North American Aftermarket Division in 1998, Goerlich's later changed the...

    1971 Imperial & 1970-1971 HP Exhaust Manifolds

Have you test fit an HP manifold on 1971 Imperial to be sure it will hit steering? What steering part does it hit? That doesn't sound right to me. I would have thought the C-body HP manifold would dump too far to rear to hit steering gear or coupler. Thanks 1970 Fury

Thank you! That's a great resource. I've actually got a 66 parts book. I was hoping that user Vaanth still had his 'Walker' numbers catalog handy and could post the page covering my 66 Newport. I'm on the hunt for a replacement muffler and trying to round up additional parts numbers...

Perhaps someone did some rewiring. Before pulling everything apart: I would Check continuity from connector at the auto trans 3-prong switch to the fusebox to determine whether you have continuity to power. Then check continuity from the backup light sockets to the other outside terminal of...

I was trying but was unsuccessful to copy the page from the OEM catalog. Go to mymopar.com and you can download it. The exhaust is in section 11 https://mymopar.com/parts-manuals/
